7 Time-Saving & Results-Improving Social Media Management Tips

According to data from Mainstreethost, social media is the second most common method of conducting brand analysis, trailing only search engines. Having said that, I believe we should all accept that social media management can be a source of annoyance. Your brand must be involved, posting and sharing on a regular basis. To help you save time, money, and expand and engage your audience, I've compiled a list of tips that my colleagues and I use for social management.

1. Prioritize Quality

It's always beneficial to have a steady stream of content and updates, but I'd rather have nothing than abysmal posts with incorrect details. We want to make sure we're posting material that can be re-shared, retweeted, and forwarded to colleagues in different industries.

These are gold if you can create content or build insights that will stay important in the industry. Social networking material performs exceptionally well for us on social media. This tweet was originally published in mid-June, and I still see it retweeted.

2. Examine Data

Quantity is just as critical. And, let's face it social media is all about what's happening RIGHT NOW. As organic reach continues to decline, it can be difficult to gain attention, and one way we've found to overcome this is to post more frequently.

Another useful tip is to remain on top of demand by keeping an eye on hot topics in your industry. This will boost your social media participation and possibly lead to more followers.

3. Be Charming

Seeking content to tweets and write about is one of my greatest challenges! Social media management gears such as Mention and Buzzsumo can help you with this by sending you updates when a keyword you specify is mentioned online.

Feedly, the RSS feed website which allows you to read all of your favorite blogs in one place, and Klout, that suggests the original content which has not been viewed by the audience yet, are also the excellent resources.

4. Make Use of Scheduling Software

The ability to auto-schedule posts when your account is more likely to see high interaction is, in my opinion, the most useful feature of these tools (aside from the obvious time-saving aspect). Picking times for 10+ posts a day requires a certain amount of brain capacity, and this is a big help.

5. Use IFTTT to Automate Repetitive Tasks

If This, Then That (IFTTT) is a social media recipe website! This website will walk you through setting up simple commands that connect various applications to perform actions automatically when activated in a sequence of simple steps. There are few blogs that we follow and rely on to provide high-quality content that is relevant to our audience on a regular basis.

6. Advantage of Social Media Analytics

Fortunately, there are experts out there, such as the fine people at Buffer who analyze tweets, Twitter, and Kissmetrics, who have graciously provided us with a beginner's guide to Facebook Insights. When it comes to handling social media, keep an eye on post interaction and URL clicks since the goals are to develop and engage the followers while you are driving them to your web.

7. Be A Real Person

This is a fantastic way to demonstrate that your business cares and that there is a face and personality behind the curtain.
